what happens when you say the "B" word? I had to give the brats a bath today and I was in the bathroom and I called Baby to come here, I said to her, "are you ready for your bath?" she looks at me and simply turns around and walks out the door and under my bed lol Does your baby know what the "B" word is? :rolleyes: |

Looks like their all the same. When Buddy sees me pull out the bath mat and his blue towel he runs for cover under his blue chair in the LR. I have to pull his hind legs to get him out, gently of course. He loves himself when he's dry though. |
Slink around, roll on back, look perfectly pathetic and/or hide under the bed!!! |

I don't even have to say the word. If he even thinks I'm getting ready for bath time, he hides. I really have to sneak around....and I guess he just senses it...cause I can never find him when I am ready. |
Marty is the oddball I guess. He LOVES bath time. He even jumps in the shower whenever I'm taking a bath if he's in there. |

Bazil tucks his tail and hides under our couch, while Bella is completely indifferent. She lays down in the sink during her baths....haha |

Lillie watches me and then as soon as I go to grab her, she runs - she eventually gives in, but is miserable the entire time. My little Gracie -she lays in the tub like she is the Queen of Sheba. She licks her paws and lays down in a stance like she rules the entire tub. Very funny. |
I tried to make it a point not to say the "b" word when it's bathtime so they wouldn't associate the word bath with well, a bath. They still know though, as soon as I get their towels and pull out the shampoo and everything they take off. Usually they follow me around everywhere but not when I'm filling up the tub. :D |
Bentley loves loves his bath. When I ask him if he wants a bath, he goes crazy. Jumps up and down wanting me to pick him up. He loooves it. Zoey on the other hand, rolls over on her back and gives me the saddest big teary eyed face. But. It never works. |
Mine hide too. In fact, Pippa goes face-first into her kennel with her booty to the door. She thinks we can't see her..hehe |

All I have to do is get the towel and shampoo out!! They are gone like the wind!! LOL...Sadie hops up on our bed and gives me the most pitiful look...Like that's going to stop me!! And Lillie runs into the living room.. |
Max will run in and jump on Dad thinking that he will protect him. But when he is done, all dried and fluffed, he is just full of himself. |

Tina will hide under the couch, and we have to move the couch to get her. But when we slide the couch, she stays where she is with her head still under it but the rest of her sticking out! She thinks that if she can't see us, we can't see her! :D |
bath time :thumbup: I have a grooming shop so bath time around here is fun,,,Levi starts out by swimming in the air when he hears the sprayer come on and I do mean that litterally he will be up in my hand and he starts swimming its so cute,,, Laci just stands like a good girl and she never moves of course she may have been punished before she came to me so shes a great little bather I think she actually enjoys it,,,Lexi on the other hand shes the fighter, she snarls, scratches and hates it but we talk and shes learning that the grooming shop is bigger than she is,,,but she sure does protest when shes in the cage waiting her turn and after her turn...She takes the drying better,,,Levi takes the drying worst and Laci just takes what ever comes her way with pleasure,,,rescues are something else from ones you raise up on your own...:D |
Deiter heres the water then takes off. When I find him he will be shaking. He loves the bath. Once he is in there he doesn't shake. I don't understand it. |
Jasper is one of the rare ones. He too loves his bath. While I gather his bath stuff, he jumps in and out of the tub like he can't wait to get started!:aimeeyork |

I don't even have to say it. Gracie sees the towels, hears the water running in the kitchen sink and that is all it takes. She just sits still, submits, and looks at me like, "no mamma, please no bath". It's so funny because as soon as the bath is done she is as happy as can be knowing how pretty she looks and smells! |
Aw, Yorkies are so darling, gotta love them! Katie will run, then when I get to her, she rolls on to her back. And Gracie just looks at me like :eek: |
