Thats my problem. CHloe is too busy playing and running around. I think she has ADD though :p . I know I have said that before but I am serious. I love her to death but she is a little slow too. I think it was at least a month before she learned her name. And when I talk to her or try to teach her a command she looks at me like I am speaking a completely diffrent language(which I know I am but she just stares blankly at me). Then she decides whatever I am saying is just to boring for her and she will start playing with the other dogs or bark at me. :D I figure maybe she is just too young right now. SHe has been getting better the past few weeks though. |

Ok I have a really hard time teaching Gwen because she only has 3 legs. She will sit when she doesn't tip over, but I'd really like to teach her to smile. How the heck do you do that? Someone help. |
Maggie can DIG to China; Track down fugitive Moles; Herd frogs and give the best kisses in North Central Texas. |
Give it up Villette....We all want to know how to make them smile! |
Duncan tries to copy Mollie but being small can't quite do the things she can. We are extremely proud of Mollie she opens and closes doors, helps make the bed, takes the sheets off the bed and puts things in the washing machine. She then takes things out of the washing machine and puts them in the tumble dryer. She opens the garden gate and moves sticks out of the path when we are out for a walk. She fetches the phone when it rings and tells me when someone is at the front door. Duncan tries to help with a lot of the things but is too short to reach some but between them they achieve a lot. |
Teddy is pretty fast at picking up tricks and commands. So, far he can sit, shake, lie down, roll over, high five, come, he does circles, plays dead and he is one mean little ball player. He also knows what the words off, bye bye, up, sit still, bring, treat, potty, outside, be nice, and no bite mean. While he follows his little commands 99% of the time all went out the window today when he finally caught the bird he had been stalking! Then his language to us was CATCH ME IF YOU CAN! So, that's why we are now going to follow up all of his training up with some obedience school... |
What can MY dog do? Hehe. Lots! :p I know, I know, I'm a proud mommy! |
Ok I have a question for those of you like Cyn whose pups knows the names of people in the house or their toys or such. How? How did you go about doing this? I started fooling around with it a little bit today I would throw two toys and tell Reagan to get her ball and then if she would pick up the other I would say no and try to get her to grab the ball. But really after about 15 minutes and who knows how many green beans later I really don't know that it sank in. I don't think she actually formed a connection with "go get your BALL" and the ball. Is it something that just came or something that you actually taught them? |
