Just updating. He is soooo cute and sweet! He is 11 weeks old and is a little cuddle bug! He scared me earlier. After I brought him home, he was scared and whining and wouldn't let me put him down, which I totally ecpected. I went to put him down to put a pizza in and he started shaking and whining, so I picked him back up and held him for 2 hours straight, in which time he vomited 6 times and would not eat or drink :( :eek: . Well, i got really really worried and called the vet, the breeder wasn't home, so no help there. He said to give him honey or nutrical in case of hypoglycemia. He refused the honey (no nutrical on hand) finally I set him down to try and clean up dinner a little and he curled up and fell asleep on the blanket I had been holding him in. At this point, I put him inside his crate, door off, with his blanket and set that inside a puppy fence with his food and water. He started to explore and play with some toys and I let my daughter sit inside with him to help him feel more secure. Finally he ate and drank:thumbup: He's asleep in my lap now. I'll post picks as soon as I can. I haven't taken any pics yet as he's been pretty emotional. Wish me luck, I'm sure I have a rough night ahead of me;)

Awwww poor lil guy...he will adjust so quick you will forget all about this!! I cant wait until you get some time for pictures!! Does he have a name yet??

You can use white karo syrup also..I bought nutrical once, and it seemed expensive to me when I knew karo syrup would do the same thing, and I always have it on hand..so glad he's doing well for you, what did you name him? don't forget to post pictures of your little guy

I haven't picked a name yet. It's between Toby and Teddy. He seems more like a Teddy to me cause he's so snuggly, but we'll see what he's really like in a few days after all the shock wares off!:D What do you guys think?

my son and I just got a brother/sister about 6 weeks ago..I named mine ginger, he named his Teddy...I like the name Jasper for a boy..:)

Congratulations on your new addition. It sounds like your little one is settling in. Can't wait to see pics. I will almost guarantee that your little YorkieSon will name himself. As you watch him during the next few days a name will come to mind and will stick.

Poor little puppy! Yes, I'm sure he'll be a little emotional tonight, first time away from his temporary home. But soon it'll be a great experience! Lucky you!!! I can't wait to get my first Yorkie and go through all the ups and downs as well.!!!
