Just updating. He is soooo cute and sweet! He is 11 weeks old and is a little cuddle bug! He scared me earlier. After I brought him home, he was scared and whining and wouldn't let me put him down, which I totally ecpected. I went to put him down to put a pizza in and he started shaking and whining, so I picked him back up and held him for 2 hours straight, in which time he vomited 6 times and would not eat or drink :( :eek: . Well, i got really really worried and called the vet, the breeder wasn't home, so no help there. He said to give him honey or nutrical in case of hypoglycemia. He refused the honey (no nutrical on hand) finally I set him down to try and clean up dinner a little and he curled up and fell asleep on the blanket I had been holding him in. At this point, I put him inside his crate, door off, with his blanket and set that inside a puppy fence with his food and water. He started to explore and play with some toys and I let my daughter sit inside with him to help him feel more secure. Finally he ate and drank:thumbup: He's asleep in my lap now. I'll post picks as soon as I can. I haven't taken any pics yet as he's been pretty emotional. Wish me luck, I'm sure I have a rough night ahead of me;) |
