The parents probably treat naimals bad too. He probably heard one of them say that about an animal or about one of the kids. |

I don't understand how parent justify cursing at or around their young children. There is a girl that lives across the street that has a 6 yr old. She uses the F word and says she's gonna beat her little @ss all the time. This little girl doesn't have a chance. That's a shame that that little kid said that about your baby girl. |
...........it used to be one in 100 children were put on ridilin(sp?) and other drugs for severe behaviour problems.........now schools give them out like candy......they act like it's a biological problem where it is really all about something going on at home........so so sad! |
Parents can't teach what they don't know. That woman probably turned out "just like mom" herself. But at what point does that excuse grow cold? I mean do they ever watch daytime tv for crying out loud? I mean you can catch a Dr. Phil episode just about any hour of the day. :mad: They just made your trip to the store special, didn't they? :thumbdown |
That is so sad on many levels. It probably is a good thing you didn't reply, that woman sounds like the type to have a fight right in the street. Sometimes it is so hard to ignore ignorance and cruelty, but if there is no way you can help, don't get involved. We can only hope that that child gets good teachers in school, because he is not going to learn much at home. It is really a shame that our poor underpaid teachers are the only defense we have against poor parenting.:( |
ughh people like that just make me sick. For one I was taught to respect my elders, for two parents are obviously their children's role models in life. Teach them respect! |
The kid shouldn't have said that, but I don't think its all his fault. The mother sounds like a real saint, herself. |
I'm a strong believer in that a childs behavior "always" reflects their home envirnment. You see it too often in the way some kids behave.:( :yorkiesar |
UNBELIEVABLE!:eek: Just shocking the way some children are being brought up..it's just the norm for them and they probably do not see anything wrong in it..what a shame...what chance have they got in life with that attitude? I was walking past a neighbours house the other week with pixie, The woman was outside chatting to someone when her daughter comes out and says 'Oh look! it's a RAT!' The mother just laughed!:mad: My son would NEVER be that rude, he has always been taught good manners since the day he learnt to speak. |
I would NOT have been able to just say nothing....... I would have HAD to comment on the Rude Loudmouth little BRAT!!....... Telling him AND his mother that children shouldn't be so disrespectful........ and also that signs of aggression towards animals could mean BAD NEWS later on. (definitely something that mother should hear, whether she likes it or not) |
I kept my mouth shut for 3 reasons: 1 - I was in shock 2 - it was a KID 3 - his mother looked like one of those types that would just as soon kick your butt as she would look at you My kids know better than to EVER say anything like that, but if they did you can bet they would have been hot water right then and there. I would have corrected them on the spot, but never would I have cussed at them. |
