You do need to be careful when walking your dogs so they don't drink from puddles. Antifreeze can leak from someones car and poison your babies. I always try to stear Asia away from puddles.(plus she would play in them a get all wet and dirty). I'm sure
Masimus is fine if he has no tummy problems. I always give Asia water from the water dispencer on my fridge. It has a filter on it.

That's funny! My husband is exactly that way. Anything that goes wrong, he thinks someone has to be to blame (besides him, of course). I just roll my eyes :rolleyes: and say "WHAT-EVER". (he hates that). :p

If he starts having diarrhea then it might be due to the water contamination. If he is not, then I wouldn't worry too much.

No he was fine yesterday...he was mmore pissed at me for waking him up every once in a while then anything...and the water in his bowl is bottled water..I didn't know if the bowl was safe..so i boiled water last night and poured it over the water bowl to kill any bacteria and then this morning I poured in bottled water..so hopefully all is okay..

Wow, you take good care of your Maxximus. I'm sure he's just fine. Maybe a little cranky from no sleep, but fine. :D

Sam, you crack me up!!! You are just like me, totally paranoid and cautious. It's good but other people (non-animal owners) think you're crazy..haha...Coco and I are glad to hear Maximus is ok. I always just give Coco bottled just to be sure. People think I'm crazy for carrying around bottled water with me everywhere but hey, I wouldn't want her to get sick.

I am paranoid...it's really disgusting..lol, but i hate germs...and I imagine all the what-if's ..... my boss and his wife think I am looney because I called to tell them to change their dogs water..lol..before I told her don't drink water (she is pregnant)

That's funny. At my house...Sydney only drinks Britta...where as us lowly humans drink tap water. :D

Water that is contaminated in the public water systems do not cause ALL kinds of illnesses. They are pretty specific and cause problems in the digestive system..you know, the poops, mostly.. occasional vomiting..
Your baby probably did not drink nearly enough to have problems.. Bottled water is the best bet so you are right on, already.

I would keep using the bottles water at least until you get the all clear on your tap.

I think I will just buy the big bottles from now on for Maximus.... I don't trust our city :(
