| The Best Thanksgiving ever!! The last couple of weeks, I have been scared to death. I had a mammogram, and it came back with two lesions in my right breast. I haven't said anything to anyone, you know like if I didn't say it it wasn't true ? My husband was worried too death of course, so I have played it down, acted like I was not worried so he would stay calm. My Sawyer was the only one I showed my true fears to. He has been a life saver to me, . His loving concern, and almost desperate attempts to lighten my mood have been all I had to hold on to the last couple of weeks. Well today I had another mammogram, and an ultrasound. There is something there, but my doctor feels certain it is not cancer. I have to have another test run in 6 months, but for now, its Happy Thanksgiving!! We really never know just how much we get from these precious little fur butts, nothing I can do for Sawyer could compare with the love and support he gives me. I hope all of you have as great a Thanksgiving as I will have.

Mom to Marty & Maddie Donating Member | Thank goodness your doctor doesn't think it's cancerous! I will be praying for you. My mom has breast cancer and didn't tell us until just after she found out, probably for the same reasons you didn't. It was scary for her to go through alone. If you ever need to talk, please PM me! |

| thanks everyone for the kind words. I really posted here to remind everyone what a strong resourse for comfort our fur butts are. You may keep fears to yourself to keep from worrying those in our lives, but our yorkies are so much a part of us that sharing with them is natural as breathing. That furry little face with the cocked head as you talk, can bring peace to even the most troubled heart. You look into those shining eyes, smile at the tip of that pink tongue, and suddenly you realise you are stronger than you thought to have such complete devotion from such a wonderful creature. I thank God everyday for helping me find Sawyer, he makes me whole.
