I'd ask for cash only, myself. It's TOO easy for scammers to make their own "money orders" or "cashier checks" It happens all the time!:eek:

I saw a sign in a local deli recently that works for your situation. It read:

"In God we trust, all others pay cash" ;)

I don't ever take checks for my puppies.

I would avoid the check. Is paypal a possibility?? Yes, cash is very good :)

I only accept cash!!! I have had a buyer stop payment on a check. I will not take money orders or cashier checks either. Its just too easy to stop payment on them. It always makes me feel like the "bad guy" when the buyer gets out the check book and I have already told them before they came to look that I dont take checks. I always wonder what they are thinking??? Do they only hear what they want to hear??

I don't take checks either. Unless it was 10 days ahead of time for it to clear. Post Office Money Orders are not easy to counterfeit I've heard.

Thank You ladies for all your advice, they showed up and saw Oreo and fell in love with Oreo right away, when we started to talk about they wanted to take Oreo, I explained that I was not in a rush to sell Oreo and we could wait till Monday or Tuesday when he could bring me the money cash, and I said that would give you time to think about wether you really want Oreo, and they said they would go to the ATM and get the money cash. 15mins later they were back with the cash and ready to take Oreo.........:( :( Feels so weird without my Oreo here, he is the sweetest baby, but I know they will love him and take care of him. :( I miss him so much:(

Well I guess cash is the answer. Congrats on finding a good home for Oreo.

Its bitter sweet right. Happy that he went to a loving home but sad that he isnt with you anymore:( you will be ok just keep thinking how happy his new family is and he will be too!

Oh, I was just reading that you found a home for Oreo, sounds like they really wanted him, when they run for the cash right away...did you have a picture of him on here someplace. I could have a lookie at him to see what he was like..:)

Yes they fell in love with Oreo right away................here is my sweet baby......Oreo will forever live in my heart:( Shortly after they left they called from Petsmart and were already shopping for him................I was so happy to hear how much they love him already.

aww so glad he found a home! Did you tell them to keep in touch? I wouldn't take a check if i were a breeder, there are way too many scammers. Good thing they gave you cash.

I told them they can call me anytime they are not sure about something with Oreo:rolleyes: I might've freaked them out alittle............I was sounding crazy about Oreo:D :D

Ahhh sounds like he found a good home. Are they keeping his name Oreo? I hope you told them about YT so we can watch him grow.
