| I wasn't actually sure whether to put this here or in the "Toy" section. There didn't seem to be any questions there. So, if by chance this should be there I apologize. Anyhow...Niko loves to chew and when I say loves I mean LOVES to chew. Thing is he only likes the "plush" or stuffed animal type toys. He won't go near anything laytex/vinyl/ rubber/etc... I need some toys that can withstand his "chewing" Every week I'm having to replace toys I just purchased the week before... Any suggestions on toys that might last a lil longer? Angela |

| Try some of the toys made by Amber lv........she does great work and has a variety of nice toys/colors........just read some of the reveiws she has received. My maltese do not like the latex/rubber either but my yorkie will play with anything as long as it makes a noise!!!!

| Diddy goes through plush toys too. I have been buying the TY Bow Wow Beanies for dogs and they seem to be holding up really well. They also have a crinkle noise that he loves.

| Does he not like to chew on bones? Tucker loves his plush toys, but he also chews for hours on dingo bones or bully sticks. Just an idea... |

| Have you given him any Petstage toys? They hold up pretty well. The only one I had a problem with was the red guy that has the bean bag in him, they managed to get it out. |

| I have done the nylabones...he devours those in about an hr! He's just a lil chewer...and I like to be able to hand him something to chew on when he starts on me...cuz I'd rather not be the toy. LOL I've just been so afraid as what's ok to give him and what's not. Where can I find the bully sticks? and how long do they last? I haven't tried the Petstage products...I'm about an hr away from the nearest Petco/Petsmart stores. I'll order some of the toys from Amber...we'll see if maybe those will hold up better then these others I keep wasting my money on. |

The Petstages are for the most part a rubber type material so if he only likes plush he may not go for it but I have to say they are the best teething toys I've ever found... As far as plush, get him an AKC toy. You can find them at PetSmart, Petco, Target...Just google AKC toys. These were the only toy my German Shepherds couldn't destroy.

I understand about being scared of the dingo bones. Tucker just likes to get the red stuff out and then he's done with them, so they are no real choking hazard for him, but I could see how they would be if he tried to eat the white part. He did get sort of choked on a rawhide stick so he doesn't get those anymore. | |

| Mine play with the Zanies, but they don't last that long. They seem more interested in getting the squeaker out then playing with the toy.

| Who would have thought such a little guy could be so ferocious! I have seen those extra large bones (like the length of my arm) at Wal-Mart that are intended for large breed dogs, but you may need to get your little man one...lol! |
