Hello, This is my first time to this forum. After 19 years with my wife she went and done it, brought home a dog. A 12 month old Yorkie named Buster. I am not not much on animals being in the house and really don't want them on me or touching me much. Being raised in the country, dogs where always kept outside and pretty much ate what was left over from supper. It isn't that I don't like dogs, just a take them or leave them type thing with me. So I am wondering why buster is taking up with me? There are 4 boys and my wife living here and this dog has picked me to buddy up with. He won't leave me alone! I wake up with him sleeping near my my chest, I go to the restroom and when I come out he is sitting at the door. I sit in my chair to watch tv and out of the blue sky he jumps in my lap. I sit at the table for my morning coffee and there he is sitting there just looking at me. He is lying between my feet right now. You would think this dog would take up with my wife who brushes him him all the time and talks to him like he is a 6 month old baby boy. Thank God he is house broke. He sits at the door when he wants out. Talk about bad hair day!! Is their hair supposed to look like this? Been here 1 week and has more clothes then me. The more I ignore him, the more he hangs around me. Gonna be a long winter. not to worry...he has a sweater | My son got a Boston mix about 3 years ago. His wife never liked dogs at all and even raised the two boys to stay away from all dogs. That little dog followed her everywhere just as your did you. I don't know why they take up with the ones who don't want them around. Could they have a higher purpose her on earth? My husband stays as far away from cats as possible, not because he doesn't like them, but because he's so allergic to them, and they too won't leave him alone. I find it odd but interesting! |
