It's 3 rounds, or at least thats what it use to be, I did see something about 4. I think 3 is fine for building immunity, then once yearly. |

are people a concern? she'll be at my house for thanksgiving and i wonder if i should keep her away from everyone until she has all shots? |
hi Hi Imperfectlyblue I too get my yorkie on the 21st November, went to view her today and just fell in love so were collecting her from 21st - 25th november, hope were first. This is my first dog so i am excited and worried, worried that I will be leaving her because I work three days a week, but my mum and aunty will be popping in through the day and My husband comes home for his lunch, if anyone out there has any ideas to keep her amused while I am work I would appreciate them. Thanks Viks |

Molly, you can buy a kong, fill it with peanut butter, that will keep her busy..they also have the cans of stuff you can spray down in them now(the peanut butter filling and I think one other kind).. |
We got Conner a treat ball (I put kibbles in it). You record your voices on it, and when they roll it, the recording goes on. We got it at Petsmart. Sometimes, when he is being finikey, this is the only way he will eat his kibbles. |

what a blessing your fur baby is going to be with her family, how exciting! i belive i read somewhere it is a good idea to space their shots out instead of having all on the same day. might want to verify that also.....i bet your just spinning with all you can buy for her....have a fun time with your new baby.:) |
is it the 21st yet? lol... really. we are SO excited! we bought a gate last night and installed it on one of our kitchen doors. it is a really nice "swing" metal gate... and i got her a harness and a toy too. we looked at and priced a few other things. 10 more days! |

Keep in mind that the vaccinations are not instantly effective, it takes about 2 weeks for the puppy's immune system to develop antibodies. Also most vaccinations will require annual booster shots while others it's spaced 2 to 3 years apart. Your vet should guide you in regards to what is the best schedule for your dogs vaccines. I hope that this week goes fast for you I know how excited you must be, I get to go see my puppy on the 21, he will be 7 weeks old and I am taking his crate so that he can begin using it before he comes home! Good luck with your little one!! |
thanks for all the info! 9 more days!:D |
