We hope she'll be back to her normal pretty self soon..i know i cried non stop when Tumi was spayed and i was sooo afraid. |
Hope Paisley is feeling better. After she was spayed, I had to hand feed Zoey her meals while she layed in bed. I fed boiled chicken piece by piece. She would only pee twice a day and didnt poo for several days. I was starting to get really worried, but everyone assured me not pooing is normal. Zoey took pain meds for 3 days so she was very groggy. She wasnt really up and about for 4 days. |
I hope shes back to normal tomorrow. Jewels was out of sorts the night of the surgery too. She shook the whole night. She was back to her old self the next day. She got teeth pulled too and wouldnt eat the night she came home but I got her to eat canned food the next day.I woulfd try canned food cottage cheese anything soft like that but I wouldnt expect her to eat much untill tomorrow |
Awww, Paisley, I hope you are feeling better soon little girl. It seems they all react differently. I think in another day or two, she will be coming around. As long as she is getting water and nutrical (I would syringe it if she won't eat anything on her own). I gave Yogurt to AprilLove and she took some of that, but she had 11 teeth pulled at the same time as the spay, so she wasn't too into chewing anything. We are sending big hugs for you Paisley and for you Dina, I know it is sooo tough to see these little ones not feeling well. |

Awww, Paisley. I love the pictures of the babies gathered around their little sister. They know something isn't right. When Betty was spayed, I brought her home the same day also...around 6:30 pm. The doctor felt that she would not need to give me pain meds for her to take at home. She slept pretty much until morning. She was a little 'sluggish' the day after surgery...not running around or anything. The day after that, she was nearly back to normal. Maybe she did well because she wasn't so tiny. She was 7 months old and weighed 7 1/2 lb! Also, I think the pain meds slow things down a bit...it takes them longer to get back to being themselves. But, at least it is over! I bet you will notice a difference tomorrow. Hugs to all the babies! |
Yes lack of activity i have heard it very normal cause they are in pain. As long as she eats and drinks water and looks okay i would just pamper her, hold her and give her lots of kisses. I hope she feels better! Keep us updated, that little muchkin. They look so cute all snuggled up together |

Good News : ) Hi everyone, little Miss Paisley is feeling so much better today. She ate food on her own and even took a bone off of Trixie. :D The little monster side is on its way back, hehehe. :p She's passed out now from the medicine she's on but seems so much better today. She's walking around more and seems to be extra emotional but I assume this is expected. I think I may actually get sleep tonight. :) Thank you everyone for checking on her and keeping her in your prayers. I appreciate it sooooooooooo much. Hugs to all of you. :ghug: |
