I have a friend who's looking for a yorkie. She's waiting for my Mylan to have a litter and I would have no problem placing a pup in her home. She's not interested in breeding. She had one years ago and would love to have another, but she's afraid of getting scammed which is why she waiting for Mylan's pups. Her pup would be one spoiled baby. We live in Houston, and I have a cousin in Many, so I know exactly where you are. Won't give last names, but do you know a Ward and Linda? Linda is my cousin if you know them. Anyway, if hubby continues to say no and you want this pup to go to a good home, PM me if you're interested. (Note: Shirley has no children in her home.)

Bummer sorry he said no. What if you just went and got her, didn't say anything, and had her blend in? How long do you think it would take him to notice? :)

No, he knows I wouldn't do it without his approval. Been married 38 yrs; to long to give him the boot!:D It is hard with the 5 we have now. Its hard to go anywhere with them. Once they're all in the car & buckled in, they're ok, but once we get where we're going, they're wild! We have an RV for traveling, but its rather small (26 ft) and it does get a tad crowded. I just emailed him a picture of her she sent me this morning, but I haven't heard back from him. It's really fuzzy, so I'm not going to try to post it here.

just get her and say its your christmas present;) . and that you would be sooooo happy if you got her and you couldnt bear anything bad to happen to the poor puppy:thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

I say, if it's not going to work out with hubby agreeing, then take up an offer from other YT'ers...just save that baby, there are people here that are willing and able to help find her a loving forever home, and soon.

JPop & Taz 2, My parents moved to Zwolle 25 years ago (We're actually from the New Orleans area). Sad to say that we lost my mother to cancer nearly 4years ago & my father can't live by himself, so he lives here for the most part. We go to Zwolle often & enjoy the QUIET. Many is "The Big City" so I know the city well. As for going behind your husband back & getting a new dog, I totally agree with you, I won't do that! Keep emailing pictures & asking nicely. She could be your Christmas present. Good luck!

:( :( That's what I had planned to do, but called her last night and she already sold her. But, not to the "kennel" people, so hopeful all turned out ok.
But I still would have loved to have her.:(

We have 6 and we got another, like my hubby said what is one more .Wouldnt even notice it much but she is all white so she stands out with the yorkies.
I would get her and then maybe sell her to a good home (someone who will spay her) for what you paid for her then you are out nothing!
We have been married 20 years together for 24 and I would just go get it if I had the money then go from there.
