| Nervous Mom Hi, I have been lurking but today I needed to post. My babies are being spayed and neutered today and I am a nervous wreck. Mac was very sick as a pup and as a result on weighs 3 lbs 1 oz. Mellie is 4 1/2lbs. My vet has assured me they will be fine but I am still so worried. My 8 year old daughter was crying when I dropped them off this morning and I assured her everything will be fine. Now I need a little reassurance. Thanks

Lacey was so tiny the vet told me her organs were the smallest she had ever seen and she had done hamsters! She did so well, when it was over she wanted to chase Chloe all around the room. Never even took a pain pill. Not to worry, yours will be fine. Just give the vet a call every so often, I did with both, just to give myself assurance.

I'm sure your babies will be fine! Spaying and neutering are very common precedures practiced by vets. I know how you feel because I was very worried when we got Riley neutered, and I am sure I will be really worried when we get TJ neutered also. Riley healed quickly and he was fine. I hope you are feeling a little better about the whole thing.

We can wait togehter although I only have one in surgery, my daughter's boy, Buddha is there now and we cannot pick him up until 3 p.m. I am on here trying not to think about it. I trust my vet and can only hope and pray at this point. I know what you are going through. Buddha is only 3 lbs also at 9 months. Hang in there.

I am sure Mac, Mellie, & Buddha will come thru with flying colors! But we can't help but worry about them when it's THEIR turn! I will be anxious to hear how the recovery goes with two of them having it done at the same time - Kodah will be six months in July & Stormy in August & we were just talking last night of having them done at the same time. Hope to hear good news later this evening or tomorrow that all went well!!!!
