| potty mouth Well, Ginger has decided she's going to eat poop, well, I have 4 dogs in the house pee pad trained now, and if she gets to the other dogs before I do(well, you can imagine, she has Thanksgiving dinner)..so went to the petstore today and bought this stuff called potty mouth, it's a pill that you give all 4 dogs for 2 weeks..but, it's nice that it's a pill and not the stuff you pour on their food, as their food bowl is left down, so one would maybe eat more of it than the other dogs..will let you all know how it works...keep your fingers crossed.. |

| I was told Meat tenderizer works great. That is what my vet told me. I haven't tried it yet. I have been looking to make sure it is ok for our Furbabies.

| she's on a really good food, blackwood..they also say that it can be that they're bored, or need more exercise..but, some dogs just do it, I don't think they've ever really figured out why..what do you do with the meat tenderizer, sprinkle it on the food? I would think if you did that, they wouldn't eat the food, if you sprinkle it on the poop, then that would never work, as she grabbed hers today as soon as she went, I just happened to walk in there while she was doing it.. |

| My Vet said you sprinkle it on there food. Then when it comes out the other end. It taste really bad. And that will stop the eating of it.

| Cody has been doing this to stray dogs poop. Last few mornings on our walks around the apt. ive seen poop that wasn't cody's and its at an apt that the owner doesnt have dogs. so we have STRAYS in here. well anyway cody sniffs it then tries to lick it. GROSS. as soon as he gets close i pick him up and we continue on our walk. i think he does it to do it. cause he gets good exercise. we go for laps around the apt in the mornings and evenings sometimes 3 or 4 times a day . we also play with toys. if anyone finds the secret let me know. its NASTY HABIT |

| Good idea about letting everyone know about the outcome. Rockie thinks his poop is his dessert I catch him eating it too. |

| Geez, I read it is a normal thing they do to "cover their tracks." Delilah outgrew the habit at under a year; Samson still helps me clean the yard. So far, I'm just waiting to see if he stops on his own, but he's almost 1-1/2 yrs. Oh, well! |
