He got shaved
 
Yes, I have him totally shaved, he looks like a schnauzer now and he is staying just so. His hair is very silky and thin and long, or was long. I like him better with the schuauzer look LOL. He is cute as a schnauzer. heehee he seems happy as well and I can see his form, body shape and all. When the hair grows back I will keep him in a schnauzer look, afterall HE IS A TERRIER wink wink

part of having a dog is cleaning the stuff (in better words) off of them. It comes with the responsibilities of having a dog. We treat our dogs like our kids here. half of us here wipe our dogs butts after they potty.

yup i am a butt wiper and proud of it lol :) We keep a thing of baby wipes all over the house. And Armani usually waits till someone wipes his butt :)

exactly. Wether we are in the mood or not lol its something that comes with having our pups.

i hope you have warm clothes for your baby this winter as yorkies have no undercoat and need sweaters to keep warm.

I am a butt wiper too, Grayson is used it by now!

It gets really cold here in Colorado I am keeping Armani's hair as long as possible (except his front leg got shaved a little last week for the iv for his surgery and I was freaking out that he might get cold from that!!!!! :)

I wish all I had to do was clean My dog up to keep from shaving her. While I was on vacation she matted all up. Cleaning up after your dog just goes along with having one

Hahahahm, I am not speaking of the butt job, that is a piece of cake, I am speaking of when he started to go in the carte and it is soaked in all over his long thin silky coat, and that is NO fun. It will grow back, by then he should be trained I hope

the butt job was just an example of what comes along with owning a dog. I dont crate train so i know nothing about that. but i know we arent always in the mood to do stuff for our dogs but we do it.

His coat was very thick and long and silky and filled with plenty of it as he was doing is qutie soft lately so imagine this tangled up all over the coat, and he lets out some huge poos like a big dog:eek:

Neither do I crate train, this is the FIRST timein my life, but I have NO choice he is not an infant and will not do it any place but where he feels, he has no choice but to be crate trained. In the past days he has been going all over himself in the crate and wollowing in it. I dont think this comes with being an owner. I have never had a dog do this before

If your pup is pooping as much as you claim I think it's time to change his food. Grayson only poops 2x a day and that is just after he eats.

I have never cut mine short.
I love the look of the Yorkie, that's why I have them.

he is making it 4 times and the Pom only once or twice at a max:eek: . The food is the same food he came to me from the breeder

Sure I will post it later when hubby comes home as he wont stand for me to take his pic. he was very full of hair, very beautiful coat but with the mess he has made lately I cant deal with it at all. He is short to the bone I cleaned off the tail as well and left only a bit at the end. I cleaned up his ears also:D thy sure are big, I didnt know he has all that back under the hair:eek:

How many times a day do you walk him? Maybe he just needs to be let out more often, or for longer periods of time.

Also, it takes a while for some pups to get potty trained. It's like having a child. My yorkie is 2 and still has accidents in the house ocasionally when he's been left alone longer than expected or if it's been too long between walks.

And I do too, but at the moment, short it is until he gets potty trained. I cant deal with the mess

He gets walked several times a day and let out the crate several times a day with plenty of play time. I have upped the play time between crating to one hour. At nights my husband takes him for a long lonng walk usually an hour, or them I should say

Apparently they poop more than other dogs? The Pom only does it once or maybe twice

what kind of food is he on? My little girl is going to be 13 weeks tomorrow, she will nibble on kibbles all day, and is still only pooping 1-2 times a day..it's very unusual for them to potty where they sleep...something doesn't sound right.

mine only poops once a day or once every two days. My parents yorkie poops twice a day because he eats kibble. He shouldn't be pooping so much.

He sure was pretty with his long hair before

I think a Yorkie w/ a snauz cut looks cute. And you know you can always let it grow back if you get tired of it.

I just gave Bernie a schnauzer cut yesterday. I've been thinking about doing it ever since I saw Buddy's pics, and finally got the nerve up.

We love it!!!!! He looks so handsome!!
