What's the longest you've been without YT? Passionfruition just gave me this idea about this thread... What is the longest time period you have gone without visiting YorkieTalk? For me, it was about a day and a half, as I was just getting back from a short trip and couldn't get online for a bit. Mind you, this was like a year ago, when there was much, much, MUCH less activity here. In the past six months, I'd say the longest I've gone is maybe 14 hours, and maybe 10 of those hours was sleeping... :D |
I plead the fifth. I think maybe 12 hours? 14? LOL |
Well the longest I have being without YT was about 2 months when I was sick. Im just so happy that im back every day. When I have to be away from YT I go on withdrawl. lol. :rolleyes: |
Hmm....I really don't know! But in defence of my definite nerdiness, I looked up the list of all the threads I've ever started. The longest I've gone without posting a thread was 1 week and 6 days. And during that time, my husband graduated from college and I traveled to Charleston to visit my parents, who do not have the internet. Other than that time, the longest I've gone is two sets of 4 days. But I'm sure I was on during that time. If I wasn't...it's amazing I survived, WHEW! |

I have been especailly addicted lately. I cant go a day without it. I get really sad when there really hasnt been anything new posted or no one responds to my post. And when you are checking every hour you can set yourself up for dissappointment, especailly if you are a night owl. And by the way YT is causing me to be VERY sleep deprived which is causing me to become a little silly. :D |

Oh my! I went two days recently without posting but I was still on chat and reading posts and PMs. I am leaving on vacation for five days and it's camping with no cell service or internet! It will be a forced withdrawal but definitely good for me. My family tries to bribe me to get me off the computer sometimes it's so bad. I am afraid they're going to have an "intervention" sometime soon. |

Kim, that is so funny! Yeah, I believe an intervention may be planned for me too. The longest I've gone is probably 2 days. The only place I go visit is my mom's and they have the internet, hehe! |
Well when I am at work it is 9 hours, but now that I am on vacation, I am on here non-stop. I sure am going to miss YTwhen I go back to work! This forum sure is addictive! |

I am hooked!!! We had a birthday party for my daughter this weekend and I couldn't hardly wait till everyone was gone so can run to my computer. Between my husband playing poker on line and my kids with my space. It's a fight over the computer. I am still new to the site (3 weeks or so) but I haven't gone one day with out a quick look here and there. |
I feel so bad. I think my husband has forgotten what I look like. :D We recently got a laptop and I consider myself spending time with him if we are in the same room but he doesnt because I spend the wholetime on the laptop and most of it is on YT. |
I think 2 days was the most for me, I cant even remember what I was doing! When I came back I had like 3,500 new posts, needless to say I am on here every couple of hours just to keep up! |
It's been so long, I can't remember!! ;) We have actually checked out of hotels and moved to one that had DSL!!! :rolleyes: |

I am on here pretty much 8 hours everyday (or more) at work. I usually check in once or twice on the weekends from home. BUT... I am going away Friday night and won't be bak until Tuesday!!! What will I do?! Can someone take notes and send me the important highlights? Should I leave my cell phone number with someone in case they need me or if something big happens? It's bad enough I have to leave Biddy & Tuck - but I have to leave YT too!! |
OK I'm here every single day!!! The only time I'm not here is when I'm sleeping and in school. so school is over. now its only when I'm playing with the dogs or watching TV. really thats how long I'm on here. In august I have to go away for a whoooooooole week to the beach. But first in July i have to go away for another week to a camp. i think i'm going to die without YT!!!!!!!!! |

We are going to Hawaii for a week soon and I am so bugging my hubby to get a laptop to take with us...for business reasons of course! LOL Otherwise I will have MAJOR yorkie withdrawals it's bad enuf I have to leave Pita at home! I don't want to go without YT too! |
I think the longest I have ever been would be a week but that was during the busiest part of school with finals and everything...but now everytime I can I am online reading and trying to post...I hate going without but sometimes I have to, but I do think about all the time!!! |

Back in April- I went 9 days w/o YT!!! My hubby wouldn't let me take the laptop with us!!!! I was goin crazy!!!!! But usually I get on at night and sometimes during the day if I am home!!!! I am on vacation all this week and supposed to be packing up my house since our new house will be finished in about 6 more weeks!!!!! And I have yet to really start!!!! |
I think like the train ride from my work to home, and home to work. So a total of an hour a day..haha :eyeballpc |

7 days of complete torture! I posted before that when I was gone, I called my husband and made him read a few posts to me! How sad! Like the addiction to my baby wasn't enough! Now I have a YT addiction! Fasteddie...you might have to start a support group next! You could call it "YTA"! Problem is, no one would join! We all love our addiction! |
