I think Sawyer is trying to freeze to death!!
 
More than cheese, more than chicken, more than any other thing to eat in the world, Sawyer loves icecream. The problem is , it makes him shiver like he is going to fall over. We don't give him much, against his desire I assure you, just a few bites of ours; but he shivers so much I wrap him in a blanket and hold him against me. Does anyone else have a shivering icecream addict at their home?:confused:

you know, they make ice cream just for dogs..you can find it in the ice cream aisle at the store, it's called paw something or something paw..I bought it before, and I think there were 4 little cups in a box of it

My yorkies love ice cream too, but I prefer giving them vanilla yogurt instead. Yogurt is actually good for them and it taste as good. :)

Mine do in fact we have a soft serve ice cream truck thatcomes around and I buy them a cone. When they hear the ice cream truck music they start crying and go to the door. Too bad he has quit coming around now since its so cold

I didn't know they sell doggie ice cream at a grocery store?? just go to a normal grocery store and ice cream aisle then I could find some?? wow! didn't know that!!! do you think they sell at Meijer?? I normally go grocery shopping at meijer....thanks! also what flavor do they have?? I can't wait to buy some for Chloe tonight hehehe

That is so awesome! I haven't ever thought to share my ice cream with the pups, just one more way to spoil the poo out of them!!!:D

That is the name of the ice cream for dogs. Just thought I would let you know. I'm not sure who carries it, but Wal-mart does have it.

I looked it up, it's called frosty paws..it should be down by your ice cream..ours is at the end of the ice cream aisle..it's vanilla flavored..I would take one cup of it and split it up for the dogs..they loved it

Okay! awesome! I guess I will shop at wal mart again tonight..i just bought a new bed and clothes by LuLu Pink yestersday at wal mart!! :p
what flavor do they have? do they have cookie-n-cream? haha..that is my favor!!

i checked out their website..they have original (i assume is vanilla) and peanut butter...Chloes love peanut butter!!!!!!!

You can buy the dehydrated ice-cream in a pouch. Mine love that almost as much as the cold stuff. :D

Walmart also has pupcicles:) different flavors come in 6pack, my babies didnt like them:( they love icecream tho:D oh and they were only 1.00;)

That's cool - I didn't know they made the dehydrated ice-cream...I've heard of the Frosty Paws since they have that at our grocery store. I'll have to Goodle the freeze-dried ice-cream for sure. :D

Thanks for all the great replies. I am going to Walmart tomorrow to get frosty paws. I guess sawyer is the lone shiverer huh? He weighs 5 pounds, so he is not super tiny; I guess he is just a freeze cat. I think it is probably just as well that we live in Florida LOL:D :D

My boyfriend's mom's dog (toy poodle) LOVES icecream. She doesn't shiver but, if you have icecream you better believe she will be right there with you and you can't help but share!

It was a GO with Tina and Tbone...
 
T&T loved the icecream last night! But, I gave it to them after bath time and it got all over their hair! They both started shivering when they were close to the end. I split one cup between the two of them, and Tina couldn't even finish her half! Their faces were so cold! It was a great treat, will be even better for the summer time!!!

Beware, their kisses smell like wet dogfood afterward!

aww....i bet they loved the ice cream treats from their mommy!! I went to Wal Mart and didn't see it for sale in there!! arghh..oh well! maybe next time I will check out a different grocery store....

Hmm, I found it in Walmart next to the ice cream. It took a little hunting, it is in a small box and they only had a few of them.

Bengi loves ice cream too. He likes frosty paws, but her really goes crazy for mommy's ice cream :)

well, I haven't bought it in a couple years now, and so I didn't know about the peanut butter, yummy..but, heck, even the vanilla that was out for them looked good enough to eat...should have looked at the ingredients..:)

You can also buy it at any camping equipment stores. A lot of hikers/campers buy freeze dried foods and treats.
