Chocolate yorkies
 
who here has chocolate colored babies? I know that is not the standard color, i'm not trying to start arguments but I would love to see some pictures. I am going to be adding a chocolate girl to my family, I really wanted a pup that had a different look then Bella. I didn't want to try to compare her looks to another standard colored yorkie. I had looked for a Biewer baby but the ones' I like ended up being way out of my price range. This chocolate baby is gorgeous and no more then I would have paid for a black/blue and tan baby.

Visit the nursery section...there is a thread there where someone has posted pics of the non-standards chocolate color. Or just Google it or search here for past topics. You'll get your answer w/out starting another war on the subject. :)

Oh no, I didn't realize that it had started a war before. I googled it and didn't find much of anything. I will search the forums and keep looking. Thank you

Let's just say, it the subject has let to some really heated arguments lately.:rolleyes: If there is a way for you to get your answers without opening it up for heated discussion again, it is probably best as it is not something people see eye to eye on.

awww i think i want one oh quick question if you mix a chocolate colored onw with a standard color one what color will the babies be???:rolleyes:

Normally asking a member for pics wouldn't, but you and everyone else know good and well the turmoil that has been brewing amongst members regarding this very topic lately. I was trying to answer her question--told her what section to go to to see pics, and without making a big deal out of it (so I thought, anyway :rolleyes: ) let her know it was a hot topic here.

If your standard color one does not carry chocolate you will not likely get any chocolate puppies, but the puppies will then be chocolate gene carriers
when you breed a chocolate to a standard.

What's to hate? It's true. Doesn't make them 'lesser dogs.' A 10 pound Yorkie isn't a 'lesser dog' either, just doesn't fit into the set standard. I have nothing against any of them--any Yorkie, any color or size is cute to me and I like to see pictures of ALL of them. I just think we could do without the debates on the subject since nothing is ever accomplished by them. :(

Actually, being as 'gestapos' opperate secretly, no there are non of those here. :p But speaking of a term that offendes people...guess this makes us even, huh? ;) And for the record, BOTH of your furballs are adorable.:)

Here is my choc baby....I love him just as much as I would if he was standard. He is also 11 pounds! Lol, he is non-standard all around ;)

He looks like a real live teddy bear in that first picture! And he is a perfect example of how small 11lbs still is. Both your babies are adorable

Yeah, he looked just like a little teddy bear when he was a baby; I miss him being that little. He is a big yorkie but, still a little dog. My Daisy is big for her breed to (Chihuahua) she is 9 pounds. Thank you so much!
