He can do more tricks than these....but this is just a short video we made for you guys last night to show a few of them.

My husband calls this video "Sully's speed tricks" LOL. Sorry if you can't hear much of what I'm saying...but anyway, Sully is the main star anyway, not me. (And I messed up in the video by telling him to walk....into my knee and he tripped! Silly me!)

No video can catch it perfectly every time, but we try.

Tricks in order:
Beg,
Dance,
Walk (trip, lol),
Spin Around (lots of times),
Lay Down,
Dead Dog,
Roll Over,
Crawl,
and Take A Bow.

Passion, did you go to Sirius Puppy Training/Tricks class?

My first Yorkie and I attended that class, and they taught us all of the tricks you just did using the same hand signals!

You're a great teacher!

Thank you!!! Actually, we've never been to any sort of training class. I've never even had a dog! Sully is just extra smart...:) No but really I just winged it! That's crazy they even used the same hand signals! I really thought I just made most of them up!!! I did find a great online tutorial about teaching dog tricks....I even posted it on here. Maybe that's where they got their advice?

I just love Sully's CRAWL it cracks me up. And when he takes a bow, his butt is sticking up in the air with his little tail wagging....too cute to handle!

Mya was on the bed, my computer is beside the bed. When I was playing your video she was watching sitting, sitting up....It was hysterical !
She was prancing around when I played the one with squeeky toy.

SULLY IS AMAZING !!

just awesome :D ...what a great video - I played it twice with the girls drooling the whole time !

I thought my girls were entertaining - lol...well...after that - I'm thinking maybe we need to do some 'training'....that looks too fun -

Sully KICKS BUTT ! He's tooooo funny with that roll and laying down ...You WIN my vote for BEST VIDEO !

We started training him at 10 weeks old. By 11 weeks of age, Sully could sit, shake, and lay down. Within the next 2 weeks after that, he could play dead and roll over. :thumbup:

About three months went by before I started teaching him new tricks (not sure why) so "beg", "crawl", "spin around", and "take a bow" are rather new. But....he's been doing those for about 2 months now. :eek: So they're not new to him.

Even when we took a break from teaching him new tricks, we still practiced the old ones all the time. He's been all over town performing his cute little circus tricks for everyone. ;) Do a search for "Sully" and I'm sure you'll see a bunch of posts I've made about Sully's "fame" (haha)

I know there are more he can be taught....but I can't think of any just yet except to walk backwards a few steps on command. I am going to work on that with him this week, I hope.

:) Any ideas? Please share!

Wow! He's pretty good! Pixie almost has "sit" and "down" mastered (she knows the commands, but doesn't always listen!) I'm working on stay now....


How about "Speak" and "Shake"?

How about sleep or goodnight?
 
If Sully will let you Hold him on his back in your arms like you would hold a baby, say "sleep" or "goodnight sully" and get him to tilt his head back as to look at the floor. Its adorable if you can get them to do it.

Have you thought about having Sully's IQ checked - I think you may have a genius on your hands:) He is super duper smart and a cutey. The million dollar question is: does he have the potty training mastered??
