puppy class Chip is starting puppy class next week! I'm so excited! He already knows sit, down, shake, and up, but he doesn't know how to do it with distractions so this will be good for him, not to mention, he reeeeeeeeally needs to learn the walking on a leash thing. It was cute watching him prance all around the sidewalk when he was first discovering everything, but now it's getting out of control. I also need help because he is becoming aggressive. I think something happened to him at the breeder's house. There are just some things that he does that makes me wonder. I also want help with him not being so timid around people. I'm excited! Wish us luck! |
Good luck! I think you'll find puppy class will help immensely. Aira who is five months just finished five weeks of puppy class. Aira was extremely timid before the class. In fact, the first class she just tried to hide and shook the entire time. By the second class she was better and overall it has helped her so much with her confidence and being comfortable around other dogs and other people. She now wants to visit everyone and absolutely loves seeing other dogs! |
Good luck with the class! I'm looking to enroll Brody in one soon. He's also a bit timid around people and other dogs. Let us know how it goes. :) |
Wishing you all the lock in the world. |
Good luck! We start 10/31 and I'm so excited! How old is chip? Elphaba is 13 weeks today and she's doing sit and fetch. But thats it so far! |

Chip is 9 months old. I wanted to do it sooner, but since he had been sick for so long,we decided to wait until he was better to start and he picked up what we taught him really good. He knows how to sit, down, shake, and up by using voice commands only or hand signals only or both together. He's funny though because if you practice one thing with him for a little bit, he gets so excited about the treats and anticipates what trick you'll have him do. |
