Potty Pads What brand is best & where do you get them? |
Potty Pads HI ... I have switched to washable pee pads as Kiki was destroying her paper ones. I've heard many people say the Arm & Hammer ones work well. |
I use washable ones as well! |
I actually use Prevail pads, they aren't made for dogs..but they work fine. They are those huge pads that are used in hospitals. Mom is a nurse, she gets them for me. |

Hospital pads are what I use also they are bigger than the paper ones. I put colorful new tops on them. They work great, never leak and hold a lot! They can't tear them up either. |
I use the washable ones and also the Winn Dixie brand paper ones 30 pads for like 7 bucks (cheap) but they work fine and don't leak through like some of the more expensive ones i've bought in the past. |
For some reason, Milo hates them. I use the potty pads frame to hold newspaper, and he uses that - well, mostly, but accidents DO happen. |
Simple Solutions has worked miracles for me. I tried wee wee pads and Dolce would pee right next to them. The simple solutions pads attract her. We are still working on the poop part though. |
I get the el-cheapo ones from Walmart-like 50 for $12 or so. If you get them, get the ones in the blue and green bag-NOT the ones in the white and blue bag-the ones in the white bag aren't as absorbent. Right now we're using a box of 150 (I think) I ordered from Petsmart.com during free shipping time. They're not as thick as the Walmart ones though, but are still pretty good. We bought the arm & hammer ones once too-they could pee on them like TWICE and they were full, since the pee spread out a lot. I think it may have helped with the smell, but my dogs won't pee on the pads if they have to step in pee to get to them, so they didn't work for us. |
Arm & Hammer for us. To me, they stink the least (or I guess I should say hold the smell in the best?) |
