Housetraining at home, office, and other places Ginger will be 7 months next week. She's going to the bathroom outside at home and uses the pee pad at the office. I'm going to start training her to go outside of the office, but she gets distracted so easily. We've been using the words "peepee" and "poopoo" since she was 2 months old, but I don't think she has associated it and I don't know if she knows to tell us when she needs to go outside. She seems to have a hard time at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Does anyone have any ideas? |
Gracie only uses pads at home. Otherwise, she goes outside. She starts getting antsy and starts crying when she needs to go. At the office, she does get distracted so I just take her out every hour or so until she goes, then every two hours after that. The same thing when I have her over to a friend's home. So far, so good. I have been doing this with her from the time I got her so she is used to going outside. When you have your baby outside at work, walk in a circle and say potty. This will mimic the usual "potty dance". It is similar to running water for humans. Good luck. |
