crate re-training I'm afraid I've been a bad mommy and Tobie is having trouble still with potty training and chewing on things in my room when I am not there. He stays in the room with the door closed and they mentioned that as far as potty training goes, no matter how much you clean up, the damage is done and the smell still stays. So now I am faced again with the dilemna of trying to crate train my pup at 9months, has anyone ever had to do this and if so, how did you go about it? Any help would greatly be appreciated. |
I too think I need to retrain my Yorkie. She does pretty good but now her and the other pup in the house are trying to have pee battles throughout the house. |
I know what you are talking about. Aubrey was not really getting potty trained and I was getting frustrated so I just left him out, and that didn't do anything. So I had to put him back in his cage to sleep and all of that. Now he does fine and he gets to sleep with me:). Its easier if you keep a constant schedule for feeding and bathroom breaks, then leave them in there cage when you are gone. |
