HELP! He won't pee on pad's or outside! When I got Mickey He was 7 Months old and living in the pet store I bought him at for about 4 months. He got sent when he was 2 months old and fixed by the breeder. When I first got him I didn't really listen to the rules the owner wrote down for me. She told me to keep him in the cage ALL DAY and only take him out for 20 minutes at a time and walk him before and after he eats well here is the problem. 1. He doesn't eat all at once, he goes back and forth all day and night long bad habit i know but if i take it away he'll never eat 2. He rip's up EVERY wee wee pad I put on the damn floor. In 1.2 seconds its in his mouth and all over the floor 3. He never goes on the wee wee pad when I first used them he was doing good not going every time but he was doing good but nope that stoped real fast. Its so fustrating because he ruined my rug already. I keep him in my room I have a big room and he just pee's and poops wherever he pleases. 4. I bring him outside every time we get up, before I leave and when I get home. He just lays there, doesn't even walk and if he does walk he sniffs the grass but he wont go to the bathroom. I even used the trick of bringing the wee wee pad outside but since he dosn't even use it inside I am at a loss! My mom is having a fit because he ruined my rug. My down stairs rug is full of pee from my old dog Holly before she died so he smells her every where he goes. I need advice i'm pulling my hair out of my head and I dont know what to do! Please help me someone! He's making it so hard on me and at times I wish he would just listen and go to the bathroom normally. |
I use the piddle pads with the holder so the puppy can't get it to rip it up. You can buy them at petsmart. ALSO, they sell a product that you can spray in an area of the grass and get the dog to realize that's what you want him to do outside. It worked for my b/c both of mine thought outside was just extended play area. LOL. They have to know that's what they are outside to do . I would try crating them also if you can't watch them and only let them out to pee when you can SEE where they go. Praise them if they go outside. PRAISE<PRAISE<PRAISE! They want to please you just don't know how to do it. =) I hope this helps. |
Sorry to hear about your trouble. He'll get it. |
