Wizdog question
 
i have a question. i know i have only had this thing for less than 24 hours, but i'm nervous. at least it's a guarantee or your money back. coco had been nailing the pads consisently in her ex pen, but shredding them so i bought the wizdog. all of a sudden i put this thing in there and she's making on the bedding! she never did that once before (in a week and a half that i had been doing pads). what's up with that? how can i stop it? i put grass i pulled up from the yard on the top of the wizdog so that when i go to work today she will associate this with potty (she goes outside when i'm home).

I have never used the wizdog or pads really so I'm only guessing. But could you maybe put the a pad on top of the wizdog for a couple of days? I know it's not supposed to be like that but maybe then she'll go there b/c the pad is there. Then maybe you could cut the pad in half or something to make it a bit smaller so the grate thingy is showing through too. Then eventually stop with the pad all together. Other than that maybe just instead of taking her outside for a couple of days maybe put her on it and tell her to go just as you would the pads? Either way I hope you find a solution, good luck.

Try putting a lightly used pee pad in the wizdog without the grate. When she gets used to going in there, then you can add the grate and eventually get rid of the pad. This is what they say to do on their web site. I bought one for Gracie and I hope this method works!

just returned it last night... coco was horrified of this thing!
