How'd Co Co do today? Don't get discouraged, if it wasn't great...Just keep it up. Just think of the reward, it's so worth having well trained dog!!! |

Well my Lulu used to pull the pad out of its pan but she finally stopped. Thank God! She would pull it out of the pan drag it a bit but still poop and pee on it! |
CoCo is learning, it really does sound like she's trying...just keep it up!!! Does she actually eat the shreds or just make a mess? Make sure she has something in the pen to keep her little active mind occupied, a toy...or specifically something safe to chew on. Let us know...and once again good luck!!! |

I purchased the Wiz Dog to stop this. Hope it gets here ASAP :) |
Hi, i just have to ask, what is wiz dog? i have never heard of this, im pee pad traning molly right now, but she is also out side alot with the others.so far she has had only a few accidents:) best of luck to you, sounds like your on the right track:) |
I think it would help if you crated her and had someone take her out during the day once or twice. Actually, this is the best time of year because all the teenagers are home from school. What I would do is call a local church and ask them if they have a reliable teen to help you out. |
a small crate may be better We used a soft crate, and this seemed to work fine. I like the idea of a crate, but some people don't like them. My dog uses her crate as a bed now, so it cannot be all that bad...she goes there on her own. This will help her learn to hold her pee, because she won't want to spoil her bed, though she may.. In those cases you have to clean her and the crate, but I found that the exception, not the rule. Also make sure the diet is consistent too. I noticed that if I fed my dog soft food she would have less control than with kibbles as they seem to be more fibrous. My dog sleeps most of the day anyway, so it doesn't matter if she sleeps in her crate or in a blocked off area. The crate lessens her ability to make a mess and trains her to hold her pee longer. The trick is to take them to the pad/paper or outside immediately when you take them out of the crate. |
CoCo...how you doing little girl? Are you going potty for your mom on the pee pad? No shredding, please!!! You can do it...make your mom proud!!! |
