2 Year Old i JUST GOT A TWO YEAR OLD YORKIE MALE FROM A RESCUE SIGHT, HE CAME FROM A PUPPY MILL, HAS NEVER BEEN POTTY TRAINED,LIFTS HIS LEG ALL OVER MY HOUSE, DIDN'T THINK WHEN I GOT HIM CAN YOU TRAIN A TWO YEAR OLD TO GO OUT SIDE. |
Yes, I think you can. It's worth a try, but it will take a lot of work! If all else fails you can keep him in belly bands. |
I got Pixie at 13 months and she was kept in a large pen with newspaper. It has been challenging to get her pee pad trained. She uses them about 85% of the time. The first 2 days I thought what did I get into. I have never gotten and older dog but they seem to catch on quick but she still will go on the carpet sometimes. I just had to treat her like a new puppy. confined unless you can watch him and use rewards when he goes outside. Good luck it will get better. |
Pixie/Patti OMG Patti, your Pixie looks just like my Bonnet. Bonnet is almost 2 years old and is 2.75 lbs. Marsha |
pictures I can't seem to add a picture, says the attach link is blocking a pop up.... Marsha |

You need to use a belly band on him at all times in the house. A mill dog is very difficult to house train. It will take constancy and patience on your part. He doesn't know. If you would like I would be happy to send you one in the mal to see how it works for you. You can PM me your address and his size around. It takes a special person to adopt one of these pups. Your a great person to do so! |
