Just trained Oreo to Sit, Ginger.. different story. So! i Started training Oreo yesterday Morning ALL day, and before 7PM hit, he was sitting so well! :p im a proud momma i guess. I've been training with Cheerios, it's going swell. My problem is Ginger will not for the life of me or her sit. when i go to touch her but so she sits, she thinks i have treats in my hands.. I tried doing it without the treats, she still won't sit.. and when i try to tap her rump to sit.. her but won't budge! any other way i can get her to sit besides treats? And how can I start to teach little Cloey what sit is :p she can barely understand what no means! ;) |
Have you tried sticking the treat way above their head so they have to sit when they try to look at it. I have to hold it almost toward Linus's back, or he will just jump for it. I also use something that smells, like soft treats. You've probably already tried that though! |
lol, darn that Ginger. She always tries to be different from her brother and sister! But I love her to pieces! :p |

well with bandit we used a clicker he wasn't very moved by treats so they like the sound of the clicker. whenever he did something good we clicked it. he learned right away!!!!!!!!! |
