Has anyone tried "Comfort Zone DAP"?? I was just wondering if anyone has tried any of the "Comfort Zone" products? Such as the spray or the plug-in? It's suppose to calm and help with training using dog-appeasing pheromones. I just wanted to see if anyone could tell me if this had any affect on their dogs. Thanks guys!:animal-pa |
Never heard of this. Is there a website? |
Yup, we have the plug-in, and it seemed like it did make our puppy more sleepy when we first got it. We ran out of the liquid and she's a real pistol lately I've noticed. So maybe it really works. |
I just got one and using it. But I don't know if it is working or not... Momiji doesn't destroy furniture or anything but she is very anxious about left alone. She absolutely hates it and she bark and cry every time I leave her. So I was hoping to comfort her with the plug-in. I don't know...... |
We have the plug - in and I can't say for sure if it's working. :( It's almost gone now and I don't know if I will buy a refill or not. I guess it's like everything else, it might work for one person/dog but not the other. |
I use this on really hyper dogs when I groom. There's a liquid and I will put drops around my grooming table. Some dogs it will help but I've not noticed any great changes in behavior. |
I was skeptical but I try stuff like that and I never really think it's working until it runs out... then I end up buying more because it does make a difference. It doesn't work for hyperness - it's supposed to work for anxiety. So basically it doesn't replace a good long walk but it does seem to help with general anxiety. |
Oh well I'll give it a shot. I bought the plug in off Ebay really cheap. I saw it in Petco for $50. My little Emma cries alll night untill the point shes throwing up and hacking. SO hopefully this will help her relax at night. I work at an SPCA and I've heard that some animal shelters actually use this to help calm their dogs, so it's worth a try!:) |
You might try Bach's Rescue Remedy drops for her anxiety as well. That stuff puts our little girl into dreamland when nothing else will. When she got spayed a couple of weeks ago, and the pain pills would start to wear off before it was time for another, and she'd be pacing and shivering and acting really agitated, we'd put a few drops in her mouth and she'd calm right down. If you want them to sleep you put about a half dropper full in their mouths. It really works with our girl. |
sorry never heard of it...keep us posted! |
