ltldocsmom Does anyone have problems with their yorkie putting everything in its mouth and how can you get them to stop this? He doesnt tear stuff up much he just goes scavanging around the house for something to put in his mouth. |
Mine does that too. If it's on the floor, it's fair game! She does that outside also when I walk her. She picks up pine cones, acorns, pebbles, pinestraw, etc and try to eat them all. I have to be so careful that I don't drop something that could really hurt her. Welcome to the forum!! |
Oh yea, Pip's name should have been Hoover! If it's on the floor, it's gonna get sucked up. I'll see her chewing on something, walk toward her to see what she's gotten, and she'll swallow what ever it is, to keep me from taking it from her. We're working on a new command now...LEAVE IT! |
thank you for your reply at least i know he's not the only one. proud to see hes normal. its amazing how much company they keep you i never realized how much fun he would be until i got him. wanting to breed him if i can find a female family who would like to do so.:) :) |
Yes, we considered naming Joey "Hoover" also. I've even taught a "find it" command which means "come running; mommy dropped something yummy". Keeps my kitchen floors clean, what can I say? |
