training bells want to go out today and make training bells to hook on my front door so lexi an alert me when she has to go potty. any suggestions and pictures would be appreciated... |

1 Attachment(s) i just tied some bells to a piece of yarn and hung it on the door, then tied a ribbon on the door knob to try and dress it up. we installed the doggy door this weekend so hopefully he won't have to use the bells anymore. |

I measured the length I wanted and added about 8 inches to make up for the tying of the bells. I purchased pretty colored cord from the fabric store that would fit through the bells I purchased also at the fabric store. Fold the cord in half, loop it over your door knob or handle or hook whatever the case may be and take both sides of the cord and make a single knot that joins the cords together making a loop.Then I tied the bells down the cord where I wanted them adjusting the length so there is a bell on the bottom. Repeat process on the other cord and your're done. Under 5 bucks. Good luck I hope this made sense.:D |

i just came up with this great idea!!! i can buy long keychain holder in which i do use now and i can tie them together to make 1 long one and attach some bells on the tops and bottom.... hmmmm.... the one i use now is as thick as the poochie one. looks like a short leash.... i put all my keys on it.... im gonna do it |
