Please Help! Ok back in June when we moved into our new condo Ramsey started having lapses in his training. He started having bad accidents. Well eventually he got over it and was back to normal.. Here recently he has been having more and more accidents.. At night I leave him loose in our bedroom and I sit a pee pad in his normal spot. Well he has decided that his normal spot has changed to in front of the pee pad.. So in other words he wont use it, and I'm cleaning the carpet every morning.. So I have been making him sleep in his cage at night and he wines like crazy.. Then when he has been bad I have a smaller crate that I put him in time out in.. (in the corner).. Well if Jess my BF goes to get him out he gets scared or something and looses his bowels in the crate, so I have to clean poop up a lot here lately to.. I have no clue what has gotten into him. We have not changed any kind of routine.. I have no clue what to do for him.. Anyone have any suggestions? |
I'm not sure what your housing situation is, but I swear by my doggie doors. I know that some people are really in to crates, including my sister (only for periods of less than 5 hours), however, I can't bear the thought of putting mine in a crate. I wish you luck as I know how frustrating it can be. Patience and routine usually work the best. |
