Asia just hits the corner of the pad with poo most of it is still on the floor, but I give her a "A" for effort. |
My two cents Get the scent out of the carpet where the dog goes, cheap perfume has always worked for me. Some how they can smell past the cleaner. Try putting the piddle pad in that area. Dab the center of the pad in the dog's urine (about the size of a dime) I agree use a key word when the dog goes pee. We use "Hurry Up" Praise your dog when it goes on the pad and use a sharp NO !! when you see her/him squat. Pick the dog up quickly and put it on the pad. You could leash your dog to you (belt loop works out) too keep track of it in the house. Remember that if the dog is playing it will want to go pee or poop afterwards. Good Luck. cyn Driving the grammatically correct insane, one posting at a time. |
do you let him out free range when you are there? Does he still go on the pad? I have a pad where she is during the day and she does her business on it, but when I let her go which is usually in the office with me i have the office door open and then I have another wee wee pad there , she drinks water there but will not go on that wee wee pad. Any suggestions? |
believe me I understand you completely, Pebbles will not poo poo in a wee wee pad, when I have seen her doing either pee pee or poo poo she will automatically stop and not do anything. Somebody here told me to put a small amount of her poo poo on the wee wee pad so that she knows that she has to go there. Of course, it has not worked for me, I get to have fun looking for it all around the house. The little stinker!!! |
