Chewing lenolium tile Venus is amost 4 months old. I've seen her try to pick at a spot on the floor the other day and stopped her. Few minutes ago, caught her after she'd chewed a hole bigger than a 1/2 dollar, under my chair!! There wasn't even a nick there, nowhere loose to get ahold of it! Right now, I can't afford to retile. I do have some leftover lenolium, which I will have to cut a square out of and "try" to make it look good for the time being. Is there any way short of putting deoderant over my entire floor to get her to quit chewing? I already put it on the spots I've replaced before. GRRRRR How long does it take for her to outgrow this stage?? I don't remember Adonis chewing this much! |
Cali ate holes in the walls and a big hole in my carpet when she was between 5-8 months. After she turned 9 months she pretty much stopped chewing so bad. I used vinegar and water whicj seemed to help a litle. It is very frustrating. |
Last night, I'd almost got rid of her for 50 cents! I'm over it now. Its just dang tile. This was a cheap floor anyway. I had it put down when I thought I was going to sell my home, and the installer did a shotty job too! Mabye when it comes income tax time, I'll put ceramic down! I know how to do ceramic myself, and I do a dang good job. |
