Yes ... i really want Izzie to Bark!! Ok its getting silly now. Izzie is 7 months old and she is a star with her toilet training. She holds it through the night and she goes outside when she wants a fee. What the problem you ask?? This all works only if the back door is open. Now unlike alot of you, i live in the UK and it gets cold here so i cant leave the door open ALL the time. So if the door is shuts she just pees anywhere!!! Everytime i let her out I bark so that she knows thats what she has to do if she wants me to open the door for her. Most of the time i see her by the door but if your busy.... hey its just too late. Has anyone figured out a way to get their yorkie to tell them they need to go out. Bigger dogs do it but izzie just seems reluctant. |
Google poochee bells on the net. They are bells you can put on the door and the dog rings them when they want out. Alot of people on here have used them and had success. You could also make your own with cat bells. It sounds like just what your dog needs |
I just looked them up cause I want to get some of these for My yorks and it is spelled poochie bells not pooche. |
Fantastic idea thanks. Ill definately give it a go, although the draw back might be that my 3 year old son might be constantly ringing the bells. But we will see. |
