Laying on the pee pee pad! OMG, this girl has been laying on this thing! At least she quit trying to eat it. Just wonding if she'll pee in the crate and sleep on the pee pee pad, lol. They so funny to watch at times! |
Little Bit will take her food, toys, whatever to the pad & just generally make herself at home there. When she gets tired of laying on it, she chews it up.:) |
I found out Misha & Piper do this also. They don't like the hard floor all the time. So I bought them a blanket & threw it on the kitchen floor. They now drag their food & toys & lay on that. Keeps them from bringing their food else where in the house also. |
Thanks! Venus did have a bed inside her crate, but seemed to want another one outside the crate too! She actually moved the pee pee pad to where she wanted it, lol. I think it was in her way, of where she wanted to play, and lay! |
ours lays on it, plays with her toys on it, and pees on it. Gross. Her belly reeks of pee |

Ollie likes to roll on the pee pad right after a bath. I have to make sure there is a clean one in there, |

She's now using wee wee pads for what they are meant for, but still wants to play with it, and move it. I finally got some duct tape out, and taped it to the floor, and everytime I see her messing with the tape, been giving a firm NO. She quits. Just watching her close with the tape. She'll wait a little while before she tries it again. She'll let me know when she wants her bed in the xpen, as sometimes I forget to put it in there from the crate. Her way of letting me know now, is laying on the pad! Throw her bed in, she gets off the pad. She's now 13 weeks old. We're getting somewhere with pad and outside training. Now where, I still don't know! |
Wee Wee Pad Holder I was just wondering if your babies are ripping their pads because the pads are lying on the floor freely or if you are using the wee wee pad frame to keep the pad locked in place with all the wee wee pad corners tucked away to prevent pulling, cheweing, moving, etc.... Thanks, M |
Venus quit tearing them up! Just took a while with a stern NO when she'd start doing that. She knows what "NO" means now. She rarely lays on it too. Once in a while, she'll get playing and not realize she's on the pad though. She's certainly made a lot of progress! I crate her at night, and if I have to go somewhere. She started waking me a few nights ago, for midnight trip outside. If she doesn't poo outside in the middle of the night, I put her in the pen with the wee pads, and in less than 10 minutes she'll poo on the pads. So much progress has been made since I first put this post on! |
