hi do you know of any muzzles that would fit a dog thats 2.5lbs?/ and also a harness is there any site that tailor to small dogs

I dont know about Muzzles but I got a harness for my dogs when they were that small from Barkindogs. They are a member on here but i got the harness off of ebay

You can get the harness at petsmart. Thats where I get mine. My Cindy is 3 lbs and shes been able to wear it since she was 2 lbs.Their great!

Why do you need a muzzle for that little baby? I would not recommend a muzzle for a yorkie.

I got the BEST harnesses at PetSmart that don't put any pressure on the neck. They are made by Lil Paws. I attached a pic.

There are also several members on here who make them and/or sell them....Chattismom, Tiger's Mom, Tinkerbell's Closet, ect.

ummm yorkies still have teeth and they still bite.

Yes you can get a muzzle for a yorkie. they come in very very small sizes. you can find them at most supply stores. like feed and tackle or whatever.

( muzzling may be needed to clip nails, or many other reasons when you need to do something to your pup and dont wanna get bit! )

o.k. makes sense I just couldn't picture my tiny baby in a muzzle...

thank you. I had thought of getting a muzzle to be able to cut kizzys nails, other wise I can not do it. and hubby tried to hold her and help me but she gets wild and I end up taking her to the vet and paying to have it done. She weighs 8 lbs tho. She is so good for her bath and brushing and bows but when it comes to nails, she is like a wild wilderness dog. lol
Still not sure if I'll get one tho or just keep letting them cut her nails. they only charge 8 bucks and their located close so it isnt that much more just to let them do it.

I read last night that a muzzle was recommended to be included in a first aid kit. Then, if you baby gets hurt you can muzzle them and tend to them or if they have places they bite and knaw at, a muzzle might be more feazible than the e-collar. When they're hurt they could bite their care giver to protect themselves. The reading also recommended to occasionally muzzle the pup in play time so it wouldn't be scared. Just some ideas I thought I'd pass along.

My 3lb chi. loves to bite my 4yr old daughter my daughter loves it she thinks its fun its turned into a game and she has never left a mark I dont think she can. PS she loves my daughter they sleep together if my daughter calls her she comes running so even if your pet bites you she cant hurt you.
