How to Stop Jumping?
 
Angel is a jumper. She always jumps up on the pen, on her hind legs and on her carrier. She has also jumped out of the pen by jumping onto her carrier to get out. We moved the carrier away from the side, but she was still able to get out. Now we put it in the middle of the pen. TCC and I tell her "no" when we see her jumping or ignore her but she still does it. Do you know how we can stop her from doing this?

Anti-jumping harness
 
Petco and petsmart sales a Anti-jumping harness. I hear it works really well.
I would give that a try.

My dog is a "climber" and can get up on anything. He does jump, of course, but not a lot and not too much.

My neighbor's little Yorkie (5 pounds) jumps clear up into her arms. Now, that is quite a jump, I think. He may plant a foot on her leg on the way up, but he has no trouble getting there at all.

I've read many posts about people's Yorkies jumping. They are probably prone to doing a lot of this - because they are so little - and it's the only way they can manage to get to many places. So, I'm sure a lot of these little dogs have really developed good jumping skills.

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked at the PetSmart site, and the anti-jump dog harness only fits dogs that weigh 10-85 lb. Angel was 2 lb. 12 oz. on July 4 and is supposed to be 3.5 lb. full grown according to the breeders. Do you know if they come in a smaller size?

I can't believe how high your neighbor's dog can jump! haha Won't they get luxating patellas from jumping too much?

I dont know if that make them that small... umm you could try looking around on the internet and see... if not, look up a person who makes collars and see if they can make one. or you can go to petsmart and see if they sell them in the store... some stuff they carry online, some stuff they carrys in the store. IF not you can ask them, and they might know where to get one.

Good Luck In Finding a Ex small anti jumping harness. If you happen to find out where they might have some, post in on YT. I am sure some one has had this prob. Before.
