Pee time??? My 10-month-old pup almost never pees when he is confined to the kitchen while I work (up to 6 or 7 hours). And - he rarely pees during the night (8 or 9 hours sometimes). And, again, he doesn't pee in the house very often during the day when I'm home and take him outside every 2 hours or so. BUT - he does seem to pee more frequently in the evenings and late evenings (even when we go outside occasionally). He's wearing a belly band at this time, so I know exactly when and if he pees - and change it immediately. Wearing the belly band has nothing to do with his peeing - because I put one on him overnight every night and this is when he goes 8 to 9 hours without peeing. My question is - do some of your dogs have times during the day or evening when they pee more frequently? Carol Jean |
Cali pees more in the mornings. She will g when she first gets up and then pee again 1-2 hours later and then again in the early afternoon. Then she seems to go until late evening to go again. |
Definitely. Early morning is good for at least three times and early evening usually every hour till bedtime! |
Late afternoon/early evening seems to be a time when Holly pees a lot. She is more active then,as we are home from work/school. At the weekend she seems to pee a lot more,as she can get in and out. When she is sleepy she doesn't need to go so much. |
My Joey wears a belly band also and he seems to go more after about 9:00 AM and then again early evening. |
Loki goes outside more often in the evening when I am home, he is active, etc. That's when he's drinking more too. He typically goes out once in the morning then eats breakfast and sleeps til noon, then he goes out at lunchtime, sleeps all afternoon and goes out once more around 3:00. Then I come home from work and he's outside every hour (at least!) until bedtime. |
I think that they adjust themselves to our schedules. |
