Trained my Yorkie Now I need help w/my cat Hopefully one of you can give me some advice. Baci is doing very well with going on the pad, or at least the spot the pad is in. My cat on the other hand is not. She keeps going over to his pads and folding them over to cover his poop. I know it is cat instinct but then Baci has no where to go except where the pad WOULD be. Has anyone ever had this problem or have any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks! |
That's actually pretty funny, the cat is just helping out, trying to clean up.. It is instinct like you said, so I don't know if it will stop. I can just picture it, it makes me laugh.. I'm sure someone here has experienced it also, and will help you. |
Why doesn't your cat have a litter box. They always "cover up" after they to to the bathroom. I have never heard of anyone trying to just a "pad" for a cat. Wouldn't work at my house. Carol Jean |

No no no. She DOES have a litterbox! And she does use it. I need help with her covering up my puppies poop on his pad! haha |
:p That is sooo funny! Our cats did the same thing when we got Zeus. We just tried to clean it up as soon as we saw it and they eventually stopped. Don't you just love cats!! |
I get it now!!!!!! You have a "tidycat." For a while, I guess you're going to have to pick up after your pup ASAP --before Ms. Tidycat gets to it. Carol Jean |

Other than cleaning it up right away the only other thing I would try is to get a pad holder. After all you said the cat was flipping part of the pad over to cover the poop and with a pad holder she would not be able to do this. |
That's really funny. I've never heard of anything like that. Don't really have anything to say that would help though sorry. It's just rather amusing who would've thought. I mean I know they cover their own but I would've never imagined them trying to cover someone else's. Well good luck on that, I guess... |
