Help My almost 4month old yorkie has been pretty good when it comes to potty training. But when the pads get to covered he wont go but yet go on the floor near the pad, or better yet FOLD the pad over and go on the floor where the pad was. He pees and poops so much I have three pads down all in one spot and it still keeps happening. But the worst was today when I came home from being out and he decided to drag all three pads around the kitchen while i was gone! I dont know what to do! I got the pad holder but he wont go on it if i use that. Will he grow out of going to the bathroom so much? I leave water out all day bc I dont believe in depriving him of water. But i give him some food twice a day and if he eats it up then its gone if he doesnt then i will keep it there for him to eat. help!! |
I dont know what to tell you - I feel your pain though, kinda. Oscar has the concept of the pee pad down - but sometimes he misses the pad..like he'll get 3/4 of his body on the pad, but the pee is right on the edge of the pad or the floor. Can't really get him in trouble because I dont want to deter him from using the pad - technically he IS in the right area, just not making the mark. What about trying a litter box instead? some people litter train their puppies - using 3 peepads at a time would get expensive... |
I change the pad 3-4 times a day |
