Hair Questions.. I know this isn't the typical 'training' thread however I need a little training. I'd like to get some good tips on doing my Yorkie's hair. He hates sitting still even though I reward him before, during and after with treats. I am curious if there is any good way to pull his hair back as I can get it to look 'okay' maybe 1 out of 10 times... I really want to learn how to do this so if anyone has any suggestions of books, websites or whatever I would really appreciate it! Thank you so much! Lis |
I have no suggestions, just bumping this back to the top for you. |
I would suggest you just keep doing it. My yorkie was the same way but now the minute you grab her hair and grab her like you are about to comb/brush her she sits completely still. Just keep practicing and stop giving so many treats. |
I need some help to...I have a three year old who is the biggest pain in the a&& to give a bath...he whines and cries the whole time. You would think that I was abusing him. Actually he has gotten worse and I think I need to start gromming him myself. The last time I took him to the goomers I think they cut his ear. they said he had a wart on his ear and they nicked it but his ear looked cut at the edge. Then the other day I went to clip his nails and he started like screaming...litterally...it was awful. The next time I went to clip his nails he was okay but I need some suggestions on how to keep him still and calm. |
