Bettyeanne - Oh good! I'm glad it's not Grand Junction, MI. Now THAT's a great town. My grandparents used to have a summer home on a lake there and we had a blast! The people were great. Chicago is definitely a good time. Stewie likes it too :P I guess I don't really appreciate it as much as I should since I've lived here forever. I'm thinking about making a move to Boston or New York in the middle of next year for a little while just because I become jealous of people who've said they've lived all over the country :) I'm glad to hear you like Chicago; it sometimes gets a bad rap being the murder capitol of the country and all... |
I too am not a "rules" person. Once I took Gracie (RIP) to a college class I was teaching in Maryland and an ADMINISTRATOR came into the class and ordered me to take Gracie off campus immediately. The kids in my class were soooo mad I thought we were going to have a riot! Anyway, I didn't take Gracie back to college, but I also quit teaching there the next year! I can't stand power happy people who look for ways to assert their authority! I'd hide my yorkie in a bag and take her into the post office anyway, even though that is spiteful and probably not very Christian! |

Chicago!! Loved it there ... we lived in Romeoville at High Point Community and it was such a great place. It was sooo neat to jump on the train and go downtown and all the wonderful places ... Field Museum, Rosemont Theatre, White Sox games, etc.!! We have great friends in Downers Grove that we visit as often as we can ... went last year when we were working in Missouri. Hope to get back this summer if we can! |
Anyone else have any ideas? |
