Every time I do dishes, he jumps up behind the drainer to see what I'm doing (unfortunately I don't share his enthusiasm for doing the dishes!!) I've began flicking the water on my hands in his direction since my hands are already wet and the spray bottle may not be accessible. He almost expects to be sprayed now. I give him a warning and tell him to get down and he crunches down and closes his eyes to prepare to be sprayed. Just stay off the darn counter and you won't get wet!!! I've found the spray bottle method to be effictive except for when he really has his mind set on something- then we could soak him and he wouldn't miss a beat! |
