Belly Bands Used for Housebreaking Have any of you used belly bands as an aid to housebreaking? If so, how did you do it? Take it off each time you go outside? I thought my pup was doing well on the housebreaking thing, but he's still having accidents no matter how much I take him out. |
Schatzie has never used any belly bands/panties before. I thought of it when she was itty bitty but then I was afraid she wouldn't head to her pad if she had the panties on ?? Sorry I can't give any advise on this one... :D |
I found the belly band and the diapers worked real good because they didn't like having the wet on them. I guess it is kind of like not wanting to potty in their sleep areas. |
belly bands Belly bands prevent urine odor that they find whern looking for a place to potty. It is easier to train a pup who isn't leaving pee smells everywhere...but they also need to be confined when you cannot watch them closely. A dog who has the freedom of the hosue is a very difficult one to train. |
Idenise...where did you buy your belly bands at? Thanks! |
Huh? Ok, sorry but am new to this...what is a belly band? Thanks :) |

ok its a little clearer Thanks Ringo..... but is he suposed to pee in it or is it to hold back belly hair? Sorry but the picture is still a little fuzzy.......gee I am feeling pretty dense right now.   |
gymbo...it's to absorb pee. The puppy supposedly doesn't like feeling wet and it helps in training them. It's also used to save your carpets from accidents. |
