The video shows Mia on her back which means that she is being submissive to your new pup Max. Which is great, it means no fighting and that they are getting along wonderfully. The mouthing that you see the gentle putting of the teeth on him is normal. Its there way of playing but not biting as pup will do. The licking and playing is always a good sign that they are becoming the best of friends.

Actually max in fully potty trained. I usually leave him in the play pen at night or when unsupervised because they werent getting along. When max is loose around the house he always goes straight to the pad. He learned very quick unlike mia did lol

The only thing I can suggest it to try it a few night and see how it works out. You may run into some potty issues during the transition but that normal. Just make sure he knows where his pads are and that he has access to them. Its that time first thing in the AM that you will want to make sure he get to the pads our outdoors for potty time.

They are just adorable, looks like they will be BFF very soon. Keep up the good work mom.

I have a question. I have a 5 year old male. Very fun and playful he doesn't have very good social skills though. He spends the days with my grandmother who we are afraid isn't going to be here much longer so we got him a friend, a female named Bella. Bella is 9 weeks old. we've had Bella a few days now and stormy wants to play with her but when she stops chasing him he nips her until she practically crawls up me with fear. How can I discipline him for being too rough? He's gradually getting worse. I'm afraid she will be terrified of him and he's never been aggressive with anyone!

Try starting a new post so others can answer your question. I recently brought home a 12 week old puppy and my 8 month old was too rough at first. I used a loud NO and took her away from the puppy. She is now much gentler. Others may have better suggestions.

To me it was actually the opposite, max will always want to play and he would chase mia growling and try to bite her. Since bella is the young one i would keep my eyes on them being that she is very young still.

If i were you i would buy a playpen for bella . when your not around leave her in there. When i had max on the playpen they would have several sniffing moments and growling but they got to know each other abit in the process. However, when you are home , let them play supervised and also leave out several toys for them to play with. Whenever you see that stormy isnt playing right with a very firm voice say No! maybe small ,not hard, flick in the nose.

I even bough stop that! Spray From sentry and i would spray up it creates a noice that get there attention right away. Also, Dont pet her too much by picking her up everytime she is Scared because she will always be scared then and thats not good. Always praise both and pet both even at the same if you can.

It takes time, i learned, you just need patience lol

Whenever she crawls scared to you, show her a different direction by playing with a toy with her and if you can include them together playing thats even better. I bought a long snake toy , i would have mia on one end and she would be so entertained that she wouldnt notice i put max on the other end. I praise alot when i saw them playing even if it was for one second.
