Potty training frustration My Sophie will be 13 weeks on Tuesday, I got her when she was 8weeks. Some days she does fabulous no accidents, and other days I take her into the bathroom to potty, and she either will or won't go, and not even 5min after leaving the bathroom she will pee on the carpet. It's beginning to get so frustrating. We have a 5 year old yorkie, who is my sisters dog, my Sophie every time she can get into my sisters room she will potty on her floor, every time! I need help |

I, personally, would keep everywhere out of bounds at the moment - certainly your sister's room....;) At her young age, I would keep her more contained - either to one room, or in an xpen if she can't be watched. I know it can be a little frustrating, but we wouldn't expect it of our skin-babies (that's the way I always look at it!!!) :) Good luck! |
It's a maturity thing, most don't start getting the idea until 4 months and by six months she will be doing much better. I crate trained all mine and that works so well if you are not already trying that. |
Just like with little children, there are bound to be accidents. Especially when they are so young. I am working on the potty training process as well and most of the time she's great but sometimes she isn't. Give it time, I know it's can be frustrating, especially when you just took them outside but have patience:) |
Giving potty training to a puppy is really frustrating, you must follow several rules to give your puppy house training. You give your puppy a frequent access to his toilet area, give your puppy special prize for peeing and popping in right place. Don't punish your pup while training if he/she does any mistake. Give your puppy a proper training for being Make your puppy regular and timely feeding schedule. |
