My little liar !!!
 

Potty training is always fun for new owners im sure! I thought I would share this little story with everyone!
We have been paper training Buster sonce we got him in Nov and he pretty much does what he wants when he wants on the paper, although I must say is doing ALOT better. Well..the other night, he wandered over to his paper all by himself and went pee pee. When he was done we praised him and made a big fuss and gave him his favorite treats! He knew he did a good thing. So..he goes back to playing and then he stopped, barked at us and went to his paper again. He squated down and right away Im thinking "wow! cant beleive he has to pee again so soon but great that hes going on the paper!!" So..he comes running and sits down and waits to get a treat as we make another big fuss over what a good boy he is...I go over to pick up the paper and I only see one pee pee spot?? Well..this is now becoming a new thing for him..lol He will squat over the original pee pee and make you think he went again!!!! I cannot beleive that a 3 1/2 month old puppy is that stinking smart! Its the funniest thing!
Had to share and give everyone a laugh... if he could talk Im sure he would pass that little trick onto all of his YT buddies :)

Don't you know they have ESP??? And he has already told all his friends how he has fooled you and now we can all expect our Yorkies to start doing the same thing!!! :D :rolleyes:

Aww now that is clever. Buster is a lovely name I love it. I would be happy if Smudger peed once on his paper lol :D

Mason does this too but does it outside so we cant see the pee...He NEVER makes the pee pad, always off the side I swear but I have caught him several times faking peeing outside. He is a boy and if his Wee wee isnt wet he doesnt get a treat!! LMAO!

Ok..for all that have a week belly...dont read!!
Last night he decided that he was going to bring his #2 over to me and drop it at me feet!!! I was so grossed out that I didnt even give him a treat for actually going on the paper.. and dont ya know..he barked and barked and barked at me like as if to say " Well..i went on the paper mom and you didnt see me so I bought it to you..gimmie my treat now!!" Ewwwww I hope this doesnt become a habit either! I am usually right ontop of the clean up but he beat me to it yesterday! Anyone else have this happen to them?

This story reminded me of my cat. I used to have an indoor/outdoor cat that when he catched a mouse he brought it to me. He started meowing and I opened the door and then he brought the mouse in his mouth. One day I didn't see the mouse in his mouth and Gordo(my cat) jumped on the bed with the mouse and the mouse was semi--alive and I started screaming like crazy, then the mouse got out of the cat's mouth and jumped down the bed and here we are, Gordo chasing the mouse and me chasing the cat and the mouse. It's funny now but back then I was freaking out. :D
