So proud of Razzle I just have to crow a bit here. Razzle for the first time tonight, obeyed silent hand signals. That was for Out, and for Down. What a good good boy. I have for years used the hand signal along with the voice command, but tonight for some unknown reason I just used the hand signals! WEll done my little man:) |
I am so proud of both of you! Razzle is an amazing, beautiful boy with such a wonderful temperament. I'm sure he felt very proud of himself when he saw his mom so happy. |
Thanks Lisa |
I'm very proud of little Mr. Razzle too! It's a big step when they just obey your hand signals and does take longer than just the words or words with hand signals as they have to learn it on their own. Obeying only hand signals shows you just how closely they watch what we do as you probably, like me, haven't ever trained him a trick/command using only the hand signal but just gave a command and performed the hand signal concurrently, with Razzle just incidentally picking up the hand signal along the way. So it's just their closely watching our hands as we speak the command and signal that teaches the hand signal so for them to respond to only the hand signal says how much in tune with the trainer the dog is and how much he wants to please you. Congratulations. It's a big step little Razzle has taken. He's a bright boy, well-tuned to his trainer!!! |
Yay Razzle and Mommie! |
Great job Razzle . |
To both of you -- CONGRATULATIONS ON A JOB WELL DONE! |
yay that;s awesome! |
Thanks every one so much. I just trained Razzle the way I was taught to train. Even from a puppy I automatically use a hand signal with the verbal command, and then one day the dog just puts it all together and starts to obey just the hand signal. |
Way to go Razzle and Gail! Well done. |
Such a smart guy and yeah for Razzle!! |
